Coyotes are fairly common throughout the urban and suburban areas of Texas. They usually stay away from humans, however there is always a chance for conflict with them. Try to keep your yard cut short and trees trimmed. Coyotes will look for shelter there and if they have nowhere that they feel safe during the day, they will not stick around.
