Coyote Control and Coyote Removal
Coyotes are fairly common throughout the urban and suburban areas of Texas. They usually stay away from humans, however there is always a chance for conflict with them. Wildlife Control specialist handles the trapping and removal of Coyotes throughout Texas including Tyler, Austin, Midland, Dallas, Houston, Galveston, Corpus Christi and the surrounding areas. The most common complaints wildlife experts receive about Coyotes is that they are killing sheep or chickens, concern over safety of pets, worry about safety of children, and that there is a sick or diseased Coyote in the area.
As the Coyotes Habitat gets smaller and smaller, their population grows. This leads them to wander into communities in search of food for themselves and their young. Coyotes are about the size of a medium sized dog, but much smaller than a wolf. A couple ways to decipher between a dog and a Coyote is that Coyotes are very skittish around humans and they are much skinnier than the average dog.
The best way to get rid of a Coyote is to take away their food source. If you feed your dogs and cats outside, you are most likely providing a food source to Coyotes as well. If you keep the food inside at all times, the Coyote cannot steal the food. Also, be sure to secure your trash cans in your garage or in a special shed that is made just for garbage cans.
Another food source that may be drawing Coyotes to your property is rodents. The Rodents attract Coyotes and the Coyote will stay in the area since it is aware of the constant food source. Rodent traps sometimes work, but not always.
Try to keep your yard cut short and trees trimmed. Coyotes will look for shelter there and if they have nowhere that they feel safe during the day, they will not stick around.
Coyote Trapping is extremely difficult because of their cautious and skittish nature. The trap is laid out where the Coyote has been seen with a food bait laid out to entice them. Since there are laws protecting wildlife, it is best to consult with your local Wildlife Removal company before setting traps for any wildlife nuisance.
